What does “garment-dyed” actually mean?

The garment is sewn first, then dyed as a finished garment. The color penetrates the yarn instead of sitting on the surface, giving a soft, slightly mottled, lived-in look from day one that fades gently rather than sharply.

What weight are these?

The Comfort Colors sweatshirt is 9.5 oz/yd² (322 g/m²), 80% ring-spun cotton / 20% polyester 3-end fleece with a 100% cotton face. The heavyweight tee is 6.1 oz/yd², 100% ring-spun cotton.

How do they fit?

Relaxed and true to size, with a squared-off body and forward-rolled shoulder on the sweatshirt. Size down one for a closer fit; size up for oversized.

Will the color be exactly what I see on screen?

Close, but garment dye produces slight shade variation piece to piece — that's the process, not a defect. Each piece is a little different.

How do I wash it?

Cold water, inside out, with like colors, tumble dry low. Avoid bleach and high heat to keep the dye and print intact.
